6. Write articles on topics related to your site and include your author bio and of course the link to your site. Submit your articles to article directories, you may also use software that auto summits your article. You will allow people to publish your article in their newsletters and websites. This is another form of viral marketing since your articles will spread around the web like a virus. The best part is that people who read your articles will regard you as an expert, and they will be much more likely to buy from you when they go to your website. How's that for a free publicity?
7. Start an e-zine for your web site. You are building a relationship by given away value. When people read each issue they'll be reminded to revisit your web site. Submit it to all the free e-zine directories on the internet. Many e-zine writers have as many as 200,000 subscribers, imagine if only 1% purchase a product from you where you net $39.00. Do the math.
8. Hold your own classes and webinars. They could be held in your web site's chat room. The idea of "live" information will definitely entice people to visit your web site. You will become known as an expert on the topic.
9. Give free consulting to people who visit your web site. You could offer your knowledge via e-mail or by telephone. People will consider this a huge value because consulting fees can be very expensive.
10. Here is a pretty obvious one, post ads on free advertising site. Here are some, Craigslist, Backpage, adlandpro, inetgiant, freeadvertsingforum. Just run a search on Google for "free advertising" you'll find even more.
11. Join free safelists. Here you'll have likeminded people networking to promote their products to each other. They have all opted-in to send and receive e-mails from each other. The pros are that you can instantly reach potentially thousands of people by sending out emails, and you don't have to worry about receiving spam complaints. The down side is that you are promoting to people who already have some sort of business. The bottom line. It's a numbers game.
12. Make videos on YouTube. Check out what others are already doing, go to YouTube and search your market, just as you would with Google. Copy the one who you think is most effective. Don't forget include your link to you website by you video description.
