How Instant Hypnosis Can Help You

By: Lee Dobbins

Traditional hypnosis can take over 20 minutes to bring the subject to a state of inner awareness, but by using quicker hypnosis induction techniques, this can be achieved in as little as 3 minutes. In hypnosis you are so focused on your inner self that even though you may hear the sounds coming from the room around you, you can still stay hypnotized. Hypnotists use many methods to put a subject into this state and the instant hypnosis method can be just as effective as any other.

When you are under hypnosis, you are in a trance like state. When fully hypnotized, patients find that they are susceptible to suggestions made by the hypnotist and are willing to freely imagine and explore possibilities with their minds. The patient's state is not at all like sleep, however, because he stays alert and awake. Like daydreams, hypnotic trances cause a person to turn inward and ignore the distractions of the outside world.

A half hour is the standard expected time for the most traditional of hypnosis induction methods to fully put a patient under. The process of hypnosis can be shortened by using rapid induction or instant hypnosis, which will result in achieving a trance in only a few minutes.

Post hypnotic suggestion is a method used to hypnotize people. Being hypnotized only works if the patient is willing, and so the patient must be comfortable with his hypnotist in order to expect results. Using a trigger can cause the subject to become hypnotized immediately.

Much can be gained from hypnosis which attempts to converse with the subconscious, as opposed to the conscious, mind.

The procedure of hypnosis has many possible health benefits, for example, hypnosis can treat pain, cure diseases and even relieve mental blocks. Being hypnotized helps many people to address and deal with negative subconscious emotions that medical doctors agree can aggravate or even cause illnesses. It has been used to successfully help people quit smoking and lose weight.

Although instant hypnosis is not effective for all, some can use it to subconsciously develop new ideas that will improve their personal and professional lives.
