The Power of Voice Hypnosis

By: Regie Lions

Are you aware of how powerful Voice Power is? It is also referred to as voice hypnosis. Many people in the world use hypnosis as a way to overcome their phobias, get past problems in their lives, and quit bad habits when they have found every other way to be a failure. The most important thing to know about hypnosis is the care that the hypnotist uses in their voice and their voice pattern during sessions.

It does not matter if you are listening to a recording of a hypnotist or one in person, the effects of their voice are important when doing voice hypnosis. Hypnotists have to make sure that their voice stays soft, calm and soothing. A hypnotist also needs to take care to speak slowly. They don’t want anything too pitchy or animated because it will distract from the hypnosis itself. The last thing the hypnotist wants to do is leave the person being hypnotized feeling jumpy or on edge.

Voice Hypnosis is about Talking to the Person

Some hypnotists are worried less about how the message gets there and more about the message, but personally in my opinion voice hypnosis is about both the message and the delivery to the person being hypnotized. The formula really boils down to talking to the person. During voice hypnosis, the hypnotist drops his or her voice to a low pitch and slows their wording down. The delivery is the same as if they are recording for their self-hypnosis audio recording. The voice hypnotist stays with the person all the while staying calm and speaking in a smooth, calm manner to get them to a state of mind where they are in a deeply relaxed, calm, hypnotic state.

The soothing voice is very important. The hypnotist doesn’t want to make the mistake of sounding like an authority figure or like someone with a power complex. During most times of voice hypnosis, gentle suggestions and weakly worded messages are said. Now specific words that require to be accented are because they carry vital messages with them, or have a special meaning attached to them. This is called an embedded command in voice hypnosis. Great hypnotists will pause after any embedded commands, to emphasize their importance.

A commanding voice is a bit too much like what our parents sounded like, and may reverse the effect of the voice hypnosis. When the person is listening to a hypnotist with a soft, calm and soothing voice it is easier to gain all of the benefits trying to be reached.

There are a number of reasons why you may choose to go to a hypnotist for voice hypnosis. You can go to a voice hypnotist to raise your self-confidence. If you have been trying to stop smoking with the patch, going cold turkey, with the gum or other ways, then you can always use voice hypnosis to stop smoking now! Weight loss hypnosis is available for people that want to use hypnosis to lose weight. Many other phobias and problems can use voice hypnosis as a solution; such as anger management, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, alcoholism, public speaking and insomnia.

Voice hypnosis is a wonderfully relaxing way to get over these areas of frustration in your life and finally find a solution in a non-threatening, calm, soothing way.

  • Finding Freedom As A Source Of Energy By: Nestor Riddle - A thought is an energy. Energy always wants to manifest itself. Energy can not be stocked or blocked. It will get out anyway. If you do something to prevent your energy from flowing, it will find another way to express itself. If you do not follow your own energy, your intuition, if you swim against the stream of your own flow, energy will express itself in sickness, tiredness, depression, skin diseases, temper tantrums, agressiveness and other not so pleasant things. So why not follow the road where your energy takes you?

  • Being A Victim Of Pleasing Others By: Nestor Riddle - People pleasing can be a defeating habit in a person's life, simply because the act itself takes your focus off what you CAN control, and puts your focus on to what you CAN'T control, which is somebody else's happiness and peace of mind.

  • Setting Your Dreams And Goals By: Nestor Riddle - In this short article I'd like to discuss a certain kind of belief that holds many people - people who are quite capable and talented - back from reaching goals, realizing dreams, and becoming all that they can become. The concept of the "Absolute Presupposition" is central to this discussion. (The term was originally coined by the British philosopher R.G. Collingwood, in a somewhat different context.) What is an absolute presupposition? For our purposes here we may define it as a statement that is necessarily, unquestionably, inarguably true.
