Conditions here are favourable to a range of watersports and active pursuits including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and scuba diving. The summer months are the best time to take advantage of the coast’s natural resources.

Ayia Napa, on the southeast of the island is clubbers paradise, offering endless choice in terms of lively clubs and nightspots. Ayia Napa is well established as one of the world’s top clubbing capitals and justifiably so. Each summer season sees superstar DJs lining up to hit the decks of its clubs and beaches.

Cyprus boasts an exciting cuisine that offers something to suit every budget and taste. Eating out is cheap, with the tourist industry catering to the usual European palate. However those of a more adventurous disposition may wish to try traditional Cypriot specialities such as Meze, Yemista stuffed vegetables and various Moussaka dishes. Thrifty treats such as skewered ‘souvla’ meats and fish are also widely available.
