The Global Fund works closely with the United Nations, with many of its administrative functions overseen by the World Health Organisation itself. It has been hailed by many as one of the most effective initiatives raised towards helping the less fortunate in Africa and other developing nations in the world. Giorgio Armani, the company itself, has committed 40% of the total profits generated from the sales of their (Product)RED items to The Global Fund.
