  • What Are Fat Burning Interval Training Workouts? - What the heck are fat burning interval training workouts? And why aren't more people doing them? The other day I saw a pack of joggers shuffling along the streets of Toronto, and I wanted to go over there and yell at the top of my lungs, "If you want to lose weight, why aren't you doing fat burning interval training workouts?!" It seems interval training for fat loss just still hasn't caught on with everyone. So today, I'll explain... What is interval training? How can you do interval training for fat loss? Who can use interval workouts for fat burning? We've been using interval training since way back in the late '90s when I was just getting involved in the fat loss industry.
  • Top 7 Interval Fat Burning Programs - If you aren't using interval training for fat burning, then you might be wasting your cardio time in the gym. Interval recommendations have ranged from 15 seconds to 5 minutes (these are known as aerobic intervals). So let's take a look at each interval recommendation and all those in between. 1) 15 Second Intervals The great thing about 15 second intervals is that you'll be able to work at a very high rate (almost near your maximum power output), as long as you get adequate recovery between work intervals.
  • No Cardio! Interval Training for Fat Burning - You don't necessarily have to perform any type of cardiovascular exercise to lose body fat, which maybe a surprise to some people. I know natural body builders that have gone on stage and finished in the top three at contests that don't do regular cardio. They just have done nothing but the resistance training and their diet, so we certainly don't have to do that long, slow cardio, but when I put together my programs I use very short interval training workouts and those things work as good or better, most of the time better than long, slow cardio workouts that are often twice as long.
  • Best Ways to Do Intervals - If you want to burn belly fat, you need to use short burst exercise sessions. So first, let me explain what interval training is all about. It's harder than regular cardio, but also easier. And an interval training workout is always shorter than a long, slow, boring cardio workout. Here's how the interval training workout breaks down. Start with a 5-minute warm-up. You can use lots of other traditional aerobic movements, such as biking, running outside, etc. Get prepared with a warmup, and then move on to your first set. For your interval, work hard for one minute. After 60 seconds, you will decrease the intensity to a very easy pace for 60-120 seconds.
  • Fitness Interval Training Basics - Most people who are used to exercise on a regular basis, often tend to stick to a program that consists of moving from one exercise directly to another without taking a short break or resting for the whole duration of their routine. An alternative way to work out, that was originally developed for professional athletes, is known as fitness interval training and consists, in simple terms, of intense exercise periods followed by periods of low intensity or rest.
  • Why You Should Use Bodyweight Interval Training - Have you ever thought of using bodyweight interval training instead of your regular cardio workout? Most exercisers don't even think this kind of workout is good for improving the heart and lungs, until they do one for themselves. All you need is your own bodyweight, so get ready to go. I usually don't use the word "cardio" because I find it to be misleading. I like to think of this type of training as Energy System training. By this I mean improving the way your body uses the nutrients to fuel your strenuous physical activity. Since this process relies mostly on the heart and lungs that is what most people focus on. But the fact is, an activity that gets your heart pumping and increases your breathing rate is a "cardio" exercise.
  • Fat Loss Exercises for Obese Men and Women - Fat Loss Workouts for Obese Men & Women do not have to be long slow cardio workouts. Fat loss for obese people can follow the same strength training and interval training workout guidelines that fat loss for advanced people will follow, but we just need to adjust the exercises and intensity. The principles remain the same. Obese people need to get stronger and use resistance training to build muscle so they can do cardio type events. Most people work backwards, doing lots of cardio first, but that only guarantees an injury. You need to do strength training first to prepare the muscles to be able to handle the repeated stress of cardio training. In a fat loss resistance training workout for obese men and women, we'll use multi-muscle exercises. We'll do them in superset pairs. And yes, we'll even use interval training for this.
  • Research Proven Weight Loss Program Proven Better than Cardio - Slow, boring aerobic cardio exercise has a dark side. Not only does it lead to overuse injuries, but it might even be ineffective. Research from Down Under shows a new, secret type of cardio works better. Both researchers and subjects were stunned by the lack of results. But that wasn't the only surprise. Another group of women were in the exercise study, but they used a secret form of short fat burning cardio workouts called "Intervals" for the 15 week study. The shocking results of the study showed that the subjects lost more body fat from shorter interval training workouts - in half the time as the cardio group. And not only did the interval training group achieve more fat burning results than the cardio group, and in less time, but the interval training also resulted in a dramatic decrease in belly fat.
  • Interval training burns belly fat - Most of my clients haven't done aerobics in years, but they still burn fat and get lean. Long, slow to moderate intensity cardio training, which is what you see most people still doing in the gym, is not really the best way to shed fat. Interval training, which is periods of short hard exercise followed by short periods of recovery, works better for fat loss, according to both Canadian and Australian researchers (plus hundreds of advanced trainers throughout the world). An interval might last 30 seconds to 60 seconds, and it would be hard work, harder than normal cardio. Each work interval is followed by 30 to 90 seconds of very easy pace.

  • Losing Weight With Interval Training - When you are trying to lose weight you don't need me to tell you that you must engage in some form of cardio training. The fact remains that some type of cardio is going to be necessary if you want to lose weight. Another fact is that cardio training can become pretty boring fairly quickly. It might be ok when you first start out, you may begin by using an exercise bike, and initially you may only do 10 to 15 minutes.

So here are three of the most important things you need to be doing to get your fat burning workout program started properly. 1) Use www.fitday.com to figure out your food intake. So find out exactly how many calories you are eating each day. If you aren't losing fat, it's a simple numbers game. You are eating too much. • Burn More Fat With Interval Training - Interval training is highly popular as a very effective way of burning fat. At the same time, it is also a first-rate method of improving cardio-vascular fitness. Interval training involves alternating high intensity bursts of activity with lower intensity stages of recovery. Because the body's aerobic and anaerobic systems are overloaded at the same time, you get the benefit of training both at once. As a high intensity training method, it is certainly harder work than lower intensity training, but the benefits can be seen much more quickly. How interval training works. The interval training technique can be applied to pretty much any exercise, e.g. running, rowing, swimming, cycling etc. Taking running as an example, you'd start with the usual warm-up for 5-10 minutes at a low to moderate intensity. Then increase the pace to a sprint for one minute.
  • Get fit and incinerate fat through interval training - Unless you are an athlete or fitness buff, when you think of losing body fat, you think jogging, swimming, cycling, or a similar activity. These activities provide wonderful benefits. But, when it comes to shedding body fat, experts agree interval training is more effective. Here are the results of several studies: Research shows that interval training, long used by athletes to improve performance, also leads to improvements in cardiovascular fitness when compared to exercise done at a continuous pace. The study also shows it leads to a higher rate of fat loss. Up to as much as 35 percent for cyclist. Research at the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada reveals that this form of exercise also enhances cardiovascular health and helps the body burn more fat. They found this to be true even during low or moderate intensity exercises.

  • Optimal Fat Loss-High Intensity Interval Training - What is high intensity interval training and can I really lose more fat following this routine? Many have said that optimal fat loss should be done at a lower intensity level and at a longer duration. Most people assume that doing aerobics for 40-60 minutes is the proper way to burn fat efficiently. In actual fact, when you do aerobics for that long, you are training at a lower intensity level. Also, after you are done your metabolism stays elevated for up to an hour after you finish.
