  • Genuine and False Prophecy - The Spirit of Prophecy is as involved in the Church today as She ever was. Because the Lord never changes, and since the Lord Himself instituted prophecy and commissioned prophets in the past, both prophecy and prophets must continue to exist and be an influence in the Church, even though the Enemy continually seeks to discredit legitimate prophecy. But how can we discern true prophecy from false prophecy? the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
  • Prophets and Prophecy - If we are ever going to receive the answers we are seeking in prayer, our prayers MUST be in agreement with the revealed will of God. We must come into His presence in the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Wisdom. But there is still one last Spirit that must be considered: the Spirit of Prophecy. Yes I am well aware that some denominations and some translations of the Bible deliberately attempt to either redefine the word prophecy or to relegate it to the past, but that is NOT what the word of God says: "For I am the LORD, I do not change; (Malachi 3:6, NKJV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV) Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.
  • Warning: Do Not Fail to Learn the Revelation - If you're a Christian, then you must not fail to learn the Revelation foremost because God wants you to learn the Revelation. It's true that the prophetic book is comprised of complex symbols and images that make it more difficult than casual reading. Nonetheless, it is God's intention for the Church to read, understand, and obey the sayings of Revelation for it is clearly stated that the vision is that "which God gave...to show His servants" (1:1). Before we dig in to the purpose for the prophecy though, it would be helpful to understand its origin.
  • Answered Prayer: Persistent Listening - The Lord is constantly speaking to us, but we are frequently not listening. The Lord often answers our prayers long before we discern the answer, and then we blame God for not answering our prayers. Then he said to me,"Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.
  • Hindered Prayer - Prophecy Ignored - Even though the Enemy continually seeks to discredit legitimate prophecy, the Lord has provided us the means to discern the truth. But do we really need any more words from the Lord other than what we find in the Bible? Remember: He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. (Mark 12:27, NKJV) And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM.

  • Enoch - By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

  • The Transgression of the Unnamed Prophet - Then the king said to the man of God, "Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward." But the man of God said to the king, "If you were to give me half your house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread nor drink water in this place. For so it was commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying, 'You shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way you came.'" So he went another way and did not return by the way he came to Bethel. Now an old prophet {who} dwelt in Bethel, ... said to him, "Come home with me and eat bread." ...

  • An Interview With Paul Mark Tag, Meteorologist Turned Author, About Prophecy - I recently had the pleasure of reading Paul Mark Tag's second novel Prophecy, and it is a riveting page turner. The concept behind the plot is just wild enough to give you pause for thought. When I read a great book, and Prophecy certainly qualifies in the category, I just feel the urge to track down the author and have a chat. Paul was gracious enough to agree. Can you tell us a little about yourself? First of all, Simon, thank you for this opportunity.

(Hebrews 11:21, Genesis 48:1-22, NKJV) When Jacob was old, sick and dying, his son Joseph came with his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, so that Jacob might bless them. Jacob had conspired with his mother to deceive his father, Isaac, into giving him the greater blessing which was reserved for the eldest male child, Esau. Now, Jacob purposely gave the greater blessing to the younger of Joseph's two sons, Ephraim.

By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrews 11:8-10, NKJV) When Abraham was 75 years old, he received a series of fantastic promises, only about half of which came true in his lifetime.

  • The Secret to Enduring Allure! - The fundamental law of human achievement is the law of belief. This law suggests that you always behave in a manner consistent with your beliefs. It's actually very simple. If you believe you can ride a bicycle, you can. Even if you can't ride a bicycle, as long as you believe you can, you can; you will continually persist after falling until you can actually ride. Even though we are all capable of riding a bicycle, once you believe you can't, you simply can't! The same logic applies to all other beliefs in our life.

Apparently, if you think you are young, you will stay young. Thinking young is a self-fulfilling prophecy. But the problem is: How to think young and stay young. Aging is gradual, but inevitable. Aging has a direct debilitating effect on your brain. Free radicals can damage your brain over decades of changes: when you reach 65, your brain cells undergo many more mutations than they did in your younger years. These cumulative changes may bring about a neurological disease, such as dementia. If that is the case, then how do you think young? His Roman Nationality Although much debate surrounds his national identity, the Book of Daniel clearly states that the Antichrist will come from among the people whose armies destroy the Temple. “A ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple.” Daniel 9:26 (NLT) The City and the Temple referenced in this passage were destroyed in A.D. 70 by Titus and the Roman legions, but Titus was not the ruler referenced in this verse.
  • The Tribulation: What The Bible Says - The bible states that in the time just prior to the Glorious Appearing of Jesus Christ, the world will experience a time of unprecedented trial and tribulation. This seven year period is referred to by most Christians as “the tribulation.” But the bible refers to it by many names, including “the time of Jacob’s trouble,” “the seventieth week of Daniel,” and “the day of the Lord’s vengeance.” Regardless of the phrase used to describe it, the tribulation will be a time of great testing for every person on earth as it will be a time of enormous pain and suffering.

  • Is The Singularity The Rapture? - In the near future, the advance of human technology will become so rapid the unaided human mind will be unable to comprehend its implications. The point in time at which this occurs is generally known as “the singularity,” and many believe it will usher in a new and exciting era for the human race. Throughout the world, many intellectuals and futurists have noted their belief in the nearness of the singularity, with quite a few predicting it will occur within our generation. Some proponents of the singularity have promised immortality and post-biological bodies for the human race, prompting many adherents to draw parallels between these events and the prophesied rapture of the bible. Lacking a clear understanding of bible prophecy, some of these people have come to believe that the singularity and the rapture are one and the same.

  • Meeting Women, It All Comes Down to Your Dating Skills - Part 2 - One area that I’ve studied extensively is what’s commonly called ‘internal dialogue’ or ‘self-talk’. This is simply the way that you talk to yourself inside your head. Most people are talking to themselves all day long. But most people are talking NEGATIVELY to themselves instead of talking POSITIVELY. Negative self-talk is, in my opinion, one of the primary causes of low self-esteem, giving up, and a lack of interest in even trying. If you tell yourself something enough times, you’ll begin to BELIEVE it. This new belief will take on a mind of its own and start creating its own self-talk. Most people who have negative beliefs also have negative self-talk that creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Your energy level increases, and you feel enthusiastic about what you are doing. There is a sense of excitement about what you are doing which makes it easier for you to focus on the task. In contrast, you probably have had times of feeling unmotivated. Maybe it had to do with going to work, completing a class, meeting someone for lunch or doing the dishes. Sometimes it is a fleeting feeling;
  • Retirement Transition: 4 Reasons to Get Unstuck NOW - As a coach, I'm always looking for the silver lining in every situation for my clients, and for myself. At the very least, I believe we can learn powerful lessons from everything that happens to us, and even the worst circumstances can open doors to wonderful opportunities. One of the most powerful things I already see happening with a lot of 50 to 60-something women is an awakening to the reality that they're stuck in a life they no longer want to be living. They want to retire the part (or parts) of their lives that no longer fit, but they don't have a clue what's next.
